In Dark Forest, Emily is in an abusive relationship with her boyfriend Peter. Her best friends Michelle, Jolene and Francine plan a camping trip and she sneaks off with them for the weekend. Peter is furious and searches the woods for his girlfriend, killing anyone who stands in his way.

About the Filmmakers
Roger Boyer is an Indigenous filmmaker based in Winnipeg Manitoba. He is a Writer, Director, Producer, and Cinematographer. Roger is one of the hosts and founders of the Aboriginal Filmmaker Collective, which is a monthly meeting at the Winnipeg Film Group where local indigenous filmmakers network and help produce one another’s work. Roger is also a founder of the Indigenous Filmmakers Association (IFA). The IFA is a non-profit group of local indigenous filmmakers and producers. The goal of the IFA is to grow the indigenous film community in Winnipeg and Manitoba.

The Home Use DVD is meant for private, home viewing only for individuals, including home schooling for up to 8 people. This DVD is not meant to be screened in front of a large group in a workshop, classroom or community setting. Please see the other use types if you wish to screen it publicly.
