Come and join us for a two-day screenplay intensive for beginner to intermediate writers!
The key objectives of this two-day workshop would be learning:
- How to generate ideas.
- How to format your screenplay
- How to write for the screen
- How to understand story structure, plot, plot devices, character development, point-of-view and other screenplay techniques.
- Writing, Editing, Rewriting
Walk in with an idea and walk away with a rough draft for your short film!
About the instructor:
Mandeep Sodhi works as a screenwriter, cinematographer and editor in the Canadian film industry. In 2010, after three years of working in the industry he found his liking towards writing, cinematography, and editing. Since then he has done 6 feature films, over 56 music videos, 4 feature documentaries, 40 corporate videos, a few web series and 16 short films in different capacities. He moved to Canada in 2011 and continues to pursue his passion for filmmaking.
These days he also works as an educator to young filmmakers at the University of Winnipeg. In his spare time, he writes, directs and shoots for himself.
