Follow along with Spirit Bear as he realizes the importance of learning history to make better decisions now and for future generations of kids and cubs.
Spirit Bear travels to Songhees and Esquimalt territories (Victoria, B.C.) and witnesses a statue of John A. Macdonald being removed from the steps of Victoria City Hall. Some people want to save the statue, and others are glad to see it go, prompting Spirit Bear to ask: What does it mean to reconcile history?
Based on the book by the same name, Echoes of the Past is the fourth stop-motion animation in the Spirit Bear series, co-produced by Spotted Fawn Productions and the First Nations Child & Family Caring Society.
